A State Of Mindasom is... samuel smith (lead guitar/vocals) shaun hennesey (bass) lloyd davis (rhythm guitar/vocals) jack carr (drums) playing a blend of music labelled only as post rock, post grunge, alternative nu-funk. asom manage to fuse some of the more obscure characteristics from a whole galaxy of genres, producing an end result which has been said to sound 'somewhere between lenny kravitz and gomez', as well as 'stoner rock at it's most stoned'. having coped with repeated changes to their line up, asom have finally settled into their current roles. scraping as much psychedelic, guitar heavy squawking as they can out of their instruments, asom continue to unfurl a sonic carpet under the feet of audiences as they set them ablaze. enjoy asom |
